Terms of Service

The service
Valendex issues digital cards for Apple Wallet that feature creators’ content: creators make and publish them in the app, and collectors claim and collect them in the app or on the web. Features and these terms may change; significant changes will be posted on this page.
Your account and who can see it
You can sign in with Google, Apple, or email, and you’re responsible for everything done under your account. Cards issued by a public account can be seen by anyone. Cards issued by a private account can be seen only by followers you’ve approved, unless you make that card public in Explore.
Your content and responsibility
You are fully responsible for the photos, text, and comments you upload: you must have the right to use them, and they must not infringe others’ rights or be illegal or inappropriate. If they are, we may remove the content or suspend the account. Handles are first come, first served and don’t verify anyone’s identity; accounts that impersonate others will be suspended. When you publish a card, you allow Valendex to use your name, handle, and photos on that card to issue and display it.
Reports and moderation
You can report cards, comments, or accounts, and you can block other people. We review every report and may remove content or suspend accounts when needed. Uploaded images go through automatic moderation and may be rejected.
External links
Creators can put web addresses in a card’s back message and in their bio. Under Apple’s App Store guidelines, links to adult content sites aren’t allowed: they can’t be published or opened. We may also disable links to other inappropriate sites. Every web link is checked by Valendex before it opens. External sites aren’t run by Valendex and are responsible for their own content.
What a card is
Cards are digital collectibles: they have no monetary value and can’t be transferred or traded. When a creator updates a card, claimed copies update with it; if the creator archives a card, people who claimed it can keep and use it. A card that someone has claimed can’t be deleted, only archived. Serial numbers on limited cards are given out in the order cards are claimed; if you remove a card you claimed, its number isn’t given to anyone else.
